This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Justin "BJ" Passarge who was born in Cincinnati,Ohio on September 08, 1985 and passed away on April 10, 2007 at the age of 21. According to reports, BJ ran a stop sign due to brake failure Tuesday, April 3,2007 striking a semi-truck and overturning his SUV in Seneca County's Pleasant Township, Tiffin, Ohio.

He would never regain consciousness. At his funeral BJ was buried in his Tiffin football jersey.  Two bus loads filled with Tiffin coaches, players and students attended the funeral. It was estimated 800 people attended the funeral.The 2004 Glen Este High(Cincinnati, Ohio) graduate was attending Ohio's Tiffin University on a football scholarship. Born deaf, BJ fought through five ear surgeries early in life, before he was able to hear.

None the less, he had always dreamed of playing college football. The dream was also held by his grandmother, June Waits, who died of cancer in 1998 at age 65. When taking the field at Tiffin he would drop to knee.   He said "I am talking to grandma telling her I made it to college."

He had to overcome so much to get where he was and we were always so proud of him.
